Edward Wayne Moore

Edward Wayne Moore, age 73, of Meridian, Mississippi passed away at his home on May 4, 2020.

Wayne was veteran of the U.S. Navy.  He enjoyed playing the trumpet and was involved in band during high school and college.  Wayne loved astronomy and would often take his grandchildren to various places to enjoy star gazing.  He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and frequently attended various sporting events.  Wayne also enjoyed bowling.  He was a member of the Senior Professional Bowlers Association and had achieved two perfect “300” score games.  He retired early to Florida in 2003 and moved closer to family in Meridian last year after some health issues.

Wayne is survived by his daughters, Linda Peevyhouse (Jim), Heather Holst (fiancé Brad Brush); his son, Craig Coulthard; his grandchildren, Keisha, Shelby, and Tiffany Peevyhouse, Hailey Holst-Benkert, Bryan Brush, Zander, Xavier, Andrew, and Abigail Coulthard; and his great-grandchildren, Danielle Peevyhouse, Allison Ford, Mckenzie Smith, and Christian Peevyhouse.

Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma “Tubby” Benkert Moore and his granddaughter, Veronika Coulthard.
