Edwin E. Bruister A memorial service for Edwin E. Bruister will be held Monday, November 14, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mark Flynn officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Bruister, 68, of Meridian, formerly of Yucaipa, CA, died Thursday, November 10, 2011, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a graduate of Meridian High School and attended Mississippi State University. He worked as a realtor for many years in California. He was also affiliated as a member and sponsor with Alcoholics Anonymous for 26 years. Survivors include his wife Joni Bruister of Meridian; son, Tom Bruister and Fiancé Caroline Vance of San Francisco, CA; step-daughters, Alisa Goldman and husband Aaron of Temecula, CA, and Lori Hayes of PA; brothers, Herbert C. Bruister and wife Linda of Meridian, MS, and James L. Bruister and wife Kathy of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law Jeannie McCormick of Ventura, CA; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Quisenberry and husband Mike of Atlanta, GA, Michael Bruister of Starkville, MS, Kristi Bruister of Hattiesburg, MS, and Katie Bruister of Meridian, MS; aunts, Ruth Littlepage and husband Epp of Butler, AL, and Mary Allen of Thomasville, AL; and numerous cousins.
