Edwina Hazel Hughes Blackburn

Graveside services for Edwina Blackburn will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. at Causeyville Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Blackburn, age 94, of Meridian passed away Thursday, July 14 at Diversicare.

Edwina’s greatest passions were cooking for her family and caring for animals.

Survivors include her children, Dee Rainey of Gulfport, Mike White (Marcie) of Starkville; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dee White and Troy Blackburn; her son-in-law, Terry Rainey; and her siblings, Flake Ford (Earl), Mary Culpepper (Lavelle), Kathleen Blaine (Hester), Spencer Hughes (Imo), and Leo Hughes (Jewel).
