Edwina Byrd White Covington Services for Edwina Byrd White Covington will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Pastor Eric Mabbott officiating. Burial will be in Mt Carmel Presbyterian Cemetery in Bailey, Mississippi. Mrs. Covington, 87, of Bailey, Mississippi, passed away on June 26, 2013, at Golden Living Center in Meridian. She is loved by her family and was a faithful Christian, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend to all. Survivors include her son, Jimmy White and wife Lynn and Cameron Carroll White all of Meridian; grandchildren, Tanya Coffey and husband Ben of Pineville, Louisiana, Tim White and wife Elke of Bossier City, Louisiana, Shannon Coleman and husband Adrian of Meridian, Kyle White and wife Heather of Snell, Ron White of Foley, Alabama, and Daphne O'Reilly of Gulf Shores, Alabama; great-grandchildren, Devin Coleman, Peyton Coleman, Erin Coffey, Ethan Coffey, and Morgan White; sisters, Edna Hodges of Water Valley, Mississippi, Ramona Carter of Memphis, Tennessee, and Bonnie Fulton of Louisville; brother Joe Byrd, Jr. of Collinsville; several nieces and nephews, brother-in-law, Lowry White and wife Sherry of Bailey and family friend Jane Miller of Bailey. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Cameron White and Welborn Covington; two infants, Vera Jo White and Michael Wayne White; parents, Joe F. Byrd, Sr. and Indiola Satterfield Byrd; sisters, Loree White, Vera Ethridge, Venie Snowden, and Myrtle Rieman; brothers, Odell Byrd and Ernest Byrd. Pallbearers will be Kyle White, Devin Coleman, Adrian Coleman, Tim White, Ben Coffey, Tommy McDonald, and Stephen Byrd. Honorary pallbearers will be Ethan Coffey and Peyton Coleman.
