Funeral services for Mrs. Elaine Gunn will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 11:30 AM at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Bro. Andy May officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Ruth Elaine Gunn, age 83, of Meridian, MS passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Heritage Nursing Center, in Haynesville, Louisiana.

Elaine was a longtime member of Pine Forest Baptist Church of Collinsville, MS. She was a bookkeeper for Southern Horseman/Publishing Magazine where she retired.

She is survived by her son Kevin Gunn, her daughter Kim Rainer (Dano), grandsons; Tyler Rainer (Meagan) and Tanner Rainer, great grandchildren; Layken Lewis, Rhylan Rainer, Rivers Rainer, and Ryland Camille Bouton, sister, Jeffrey Lynn Mayatt, brother, Sonny Vincent, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and beloved caretaker LaShunda Young.

She was preceded in death by her husband Judge "Bill" Gunn, her parents C. M. and Maurine Vincent, sisters; Sarah Lee Mixon, Rena Scarbrough, Sue Mosley, and Pat Kotouc.

Pallbearers will be Mike Gunn, Dennis Morgan, Greg Kinard, Andy Mosley, Roger Jordan, and Mel Mayatt. Martin Gunn will serve as honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM prior to funeral services.
