Elaine C. Jones Graveside service for Elaine C. Jones will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Suqualena Cemetery, with Brother Mike Russell officiating. Mrs. Jones, 85, of Meridian passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at her home. Survivors include her son, Doug Jones and wife, Janet of Meridian; grandson, Buck Jones and wife, Leslie of Meridian; great-grandson, Jase Jones; sister, Carolyn Cumberland and husband, Norman of Meridian; special friend and caregiver, Tina Herrod and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold T. Jones; brother, Robert Cook and parents, Louis Cook and Inie King Cook. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Suqualena Cemetery Fund. Pallbearers will be Buck Jones, Fred Hataway, Jay Cumberland, Wayne Cook, Vernon Mott, and Zane Neal.
