Graveside services for Ann Plowman will be Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at 11:00a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Plowman, 78, of Meridian passed away Friday, October 7, 2016 at Bedford Care Center. She was born to the late Harvey and Elizabeth Jenkins on November 30, 1937.

She was a retired state employee and a member of New Harvest Church in Collinsville.

Ann is survived by her children, Lauren (Bruce) Clay, Janis (John) Overby, Cynda Wimberly, Bud (Lori) Wimberly, Jada Wimberly; the father of her children, Allen Wimberly; sisters, Junice Moody Mitchell, Carol (Mark) Killam, Leslie Jenkins, Faye (Thomas) Ethridge; grandchildren, Caleb Clay, Zac (Sidney) Clay, Rachel Clay, Jacob Overby, Jared Overby, Richie (Alesha) Bailey, Tyler Richardson, Abbey Freeman, Luke Freeman; and great-grandchildren, Sam Bailey, Gracie Freeman, Adalee Clay.

She is preceded in death by daughter, Gina Wimberly; sister, Jean Powell; husband, Jerry Plowman.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to those at Bedford Care Center and Compassus Hospice for their faithful care of their mother.

Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of her daughter, Gina Wimberly.
