Elizabeth "Beth" Tucker Smith

Funeral services for Mrs. Beth Smith will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Dr. David Sellers officiating. Burial will be held at First Baptist Church of Collinsville Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Smith, age 78, of Collinsville, passed away November 15, 2017, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Smith was a member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville. She retired after teaching sixth grade for many years from West Lauderdale Elementary School. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmama.

The family would like to give special thanks to Mrs. Smith’s caregivers, Tina Reed and others.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Connie Mack Smith; her children, Jennifer (Ricky) Wagner, Janet (Paul) Goforth, Scott (Lynn) Smith, and Beth Ann (Barry) Ward; grandchildren, Billy Mack (Mollie) Kinard, Justin (Holly) Kinard, Tucker Wagner, Anna Wagner, Edi Smith, Hannah Ward, Eli Ward, and Kase Ward; great-grandchildren, Kamryn Willoughby, Colt Kinard, Kate Kinard, and Slade Kinard; siblings, Frances Drew and Donnie (Lena) Tucker; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Tucker and Fannie Tucker Long; siblings, Jimmie Franklin, Julius S. Tucker, Jonnie Ann Bailey, and Winnie Mae Houston.

Pallbearers will be her sons-in-law and her grandsons.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 17, 2017, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
