Elizabeth Francis Goodman

Funeral services for Elizabeth Goodman will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with The Reverend Chuck Meador officiating.  Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery.

Mrs. Goodman, 85, of Meridian, passed away March 31, 2016, at her home.

Elizabeth was a lifelong resident of Meridian and a longtime member of Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the St. Andrew’s Sunday school class and The United Methodist Women. She also served as a longtime member of the Silver Cross Circle.  She retired from Rea, Shaw, Giffin, and Stuart CPA firm.

She is survived by her daughter, The Reverend Donna Elizabeth Gafford and her husband, Alexander T. Gafford, and numerous special friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William David Goodman; her son, David Burr Goodman; her grandson, Matthew Goodman; her parents, William Burr and Elizabeth Sellers Francis; and her brother, Robert Burr Francis.
