Elizabeth "Libby" Boling Bounds

Services celebrating the life of Mrs. Elizabeth “Libby” Boling Bounds will begin at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 24, 2024, at First Christian Church in Meridian, with Dr. Mark Benson officiating. A reception will follow the service at First Christian Church. A private Inurnment will be at Magnolia Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Bounds, 73, of Meridian, died Friday, October 18, 2024, at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.

Libby was born and reared in Senatobia, MS. She was graduated from Northwest Community College and the University of Mississippi. She went on to teach English at Magnolia Middle School and was an English Instructor at Meridian Community College.

Mrs. Libby is survived by her cousins, J. H. Mize, Millie Smith (Brian), Charlie Craig, Bill Renick, Louis Craig, Steve Hall, John Hall, Lincoln Hall, Laurie Badwey, Becky Finan, Ferrel Fort, and Doug Fort.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ross Bounds; and her parents, J.P. and Alice Craig Boling.

Mrs. Bounds Family suggests memorials be made as donations to First Christian Church in lieu of flowers.
