Elizabeth Strickland Services for Elizabeth Strickland will be held Saturday, August 18, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Randy Scarbrough officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Strickland, 71, of Meridian died Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at Bedford Manor. She was a Christian, true believer, in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of all who will believe. Mrs. Strickland was an active member of Northeast Baptist Church where she was also active in Women Who Win. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and best friend. Mrs. Strickland was a graduate of Townsend School of Cosmetology and Mid South Business College. She was a long time employee of Olan Mills. Survivors include her daughter Marian Inman and husband Shane; granddaughters Ashley and Sharron Inman all of West Point, Mississippi; grandson Jeremy Pearson of New Orleans, Louisiana; numerous nieces and nephews; sister Vera Jumper and husband Johnny and brothers Joe Davis and Nathaniel Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Willard Strickland, daughter Aleshia Pearson, sons James E. Strickland and Richard Strickland and her parents Anna and Eugene Davis.
