Elwood Edward Reedy Graveside service for Elwood Edward Reedy will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Whitehead Family Cemetery with Reverend Mark Thompson officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements, Mr. Reedy, 70, of Meridian died Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Rush Hospital. He was a loving, generous and caring husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Reedy was very devoted to his wife, family, grandchildren and friends and his memories will stay alive and he will be dearly missed. Survivors include his wife Marie Reedy of Meridian, step children Robbie Lee of Columbus, Richard Lee of Louisville, Rhonda Dumas of Walnut Grove, Regina King of Meridian, Lisa Alexander of Meridian, and Victor Espinoca of Philadelphia; two special friends Ariel Chauvez of Philadelphia and Nadine Brown of Meridian; seventeen grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Rita M. Reedy, and one sister. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the family for the funeral expenses. Pallbearers will be Edward Stygles, Jamie Luce, Christopher Freeman, Bradley Willingham, Victor Espinoca, and Ariel Chauvez.
