Emma Lou Burt Price Services for Emma Lou Burt Price will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel. Emma Lou Burt Price, formerly of Toomsuba, MS, passed away at Sheridan Memorial Hospital in Sheridan, WY on Saturday, July 26, 2014. Emma Lou was born on December 14, 1929 to Odis and Kate Burt in Laurel, MS. Emma Lou married Jesse Winston "Buddy" Price on August 3, 1949 and they made their home in Toomsuba where they raised two sons, Jesse Alan and Jeffrey Burt and a daughter, Lu Ann. She is survived by her children Alan (Janet) of Toomsuba, Jeff (Jan) also of Toomsuba and daughter Lu Ann Frey (Toby) of Sheridan, WY, seven grandchildren, two step grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren. Emma Lou was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Adron Burt, infant sister, Iris Burt, grandson, Al Price, and step grandson, Christopher Sullivan. Memorials to honor Emma Lou may be made to Toomsuba Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 204, Toomsuba, MS 39364.
