Esther Williams Moulds

Funeral services for Mrs. Esther Williams Moulds will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Shawn Stewart officiating. Service Music will be provided by Mr. Barry Germany. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Community Cemetery in the Clarkdale Community. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Moulds, 86, of Meridian, died Monday, January 22, 2024 at Ochsner Rush Medical Center in Meridian.

Esther enjoyed farming and tending to her cattle; she was an advocate for many local charities and food banks. She was always giving of her time and talents anyway she could. She was also a long-time member of the South Lauderdale Volunteer Fire Department where she also served as treasurer.

Mrs. Moulds is survived by her husband of 67 years, Morris Moulds; children, Kathy Moulds, Ken Moulds (Joan), and Robin Beckham. Seven Grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; siblings, James Williams (Virginia), Carolyn Hudson (Will), Reese Williams, Linda Jordan (Buddy), and Larry Williams (Faye), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mrs. Esther is preceded in death by her parents, James and Rubie Williams; and her children, Cynthia Moulds and Donnie Moulds.

Pallbearers will be Justin McMillan, Brian McMillan, Matthew Beckham, Eric Hudson, Ray Smith, and Bill Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Purvis, Dudley Williams, Brandon Maxwell, and Andy Maxwell.

The Moulds family suggests memorials be made as donations to the Oak Grove Community Cemetery Fund at 6979 C.R. 350 Meridian, MS 39301 or to Oak Grove Church, at  6679 C.R. 350 Meridian, MS 39301 in the Clarkdale Community in lieu of flowers.

The Moulds family will receive guests from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to funeral rites in the chapel.
