Esther Evylene Tidmore Smith Services for Esther Evylene Tidmore Smith will be held Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donald Gentry officiating and soloist Reverend Timothy Craddock. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Mrs. Smith, 90, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2010. She resided at Aldersgate for many years. After her health declined she made her home with her family, Henry and Peggy Sullivan. Mrs. Smith was retired from the USFG and was a member of 15th Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include her nieces and caregivers, Jeffrie T.Pruitt and Peggy T. Sullivan, nephews, James C. Tidmore all of Meridian, C. Patton Tidmore, Jr. of Picayune,MS; ten great nieces and nephews; twenty-four great-great nieces and nephews; and four great-great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Milton Jones Smith; parents, Cliffton and Mamie Tidmore; brother, Cliff Patton Tidmore, Sr. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to 15th Ave. Baptist Church Building Fund. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Jacob Cooper, Jon Henry Smith, Patrick Keller, Michael Ferris, Tommy Raines, Trey Tidmore, and Hayden Adkins.
