Evelyn Ada Harrison

Funeral services for Evelyn Harrison will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at 1:00 p.m., at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Reverends John David Harrison, Mike Russell, and Ron Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Little Rock.

Mrs. Harrison, 86, passed away July 31 at Bedford Care Center.

Evelyn was a seamstress and was a faithful employee of Harry Mayer Clothiers for fifteen years. She dearly loved her family, and especially had a soft spot for her grandchildren, but her first love was her Savior, Jesus Christ. Evelyn was a faithful member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Harrison (Joe) Miller; grandchildren, Kellie (Chad) Penson, Joseph Patrick Miller, Gina Harrison (Mike) Channell, and John David (Stephanie) Harrison; great-grandchildren, Peyton Penson, Landon Penson, Carra (Justin) Carrillo, Steven Channell, Hannah Harrison, Josh Harrison, and Drew Harrison and great-great-grandchild, Lillian Carrillo; sister, Betty Jackson and brothers, Adrian Rainer and Dub Rainer.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, Buford E. Harrison; son, Danny E. Harrison; parents, Walter and Bessie Rainer; and brother, Donald Rainer.

Pallbearers will be Keith Jones, Todd Harrison, Jack Harrison, Terry Rainer, Ken Rainer, and Doyle Rainer. Honorary pallbearers will be Burlon Laird and Jerry Laird.
