Evelyn Rebecca Moore Memorial services for Evelyn Rebecca Moore will be held, Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at First Christian Church with Dr. Tom Sikes officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Moore, 96, of Meridian died Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and a native of Kansas and lived in Kansas City for many years retiring to Eagle Rock, MO prior to moving to Meridian two and half years ago. She was a member of First Christian Church in Meridian, Mississippi. Survivors include her daughter Patti Pankiewicz of Meridian, a brother Randy Moore and wife Pam of Olathe, KS; two sisters Jacque Scammon of Tulsa, OK, and Midge Meeker of Overland Park, KS; four grandchildren Megan and husband Scott Waelde of Decatur, GA, Rebecca and husband Ben May of Destin, FL, Sarah Pankiewicz of Atlanta, GA, and Joey Moore of Desota, KS, and three great-grandchildren Delta May, Gabriel Waelde, and Logan Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Moore and a son Gary Moore; her parents James and Edith Augustus; sister Leah Whitaker and brother Robert Augustus. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to First Christian Church.
