Funeral services for Evelyn Wolfe will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016, at 2:30 p.m., at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.  Dr. Sam Wolfe, Dr. John Temple and Mr. Corey Wolfe will officiate.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden.

Mrs. Wolfe, 89, of Meridian, passed away May 4 at Bedford Care Center.

Evelyn was born the youngest of seven children to Will and Emma Roberson of Toomsuba, Mississippi on July 15, 1926.  She was married to the love of her life, Edgar Wolfe, for fifty-six years, until his death on March 13, 2003.  Only death could have parted them, and they are now rejoined together in Heaven.  Evelyn is also rejoined with those family members that preceded her in death, and they are now gathered at the feet of Jesus and will worship Him for eternity.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Benny Wolfe (Teresa), Brenda Wolfe Burt (Melvin, deceased), and John Wolfe (Barbara); grandchildren, Cassie Wolfe Lee, Kelli Wolfe Lungrin (Charles), Kevin Wolfe (Krystal), Nathan Wolfe, Stephen Burt, Summer Burt Riley (Tyler), Corey Wolfe (Alyson), Hayley Wolfe Warren (Jason), and step-grandchildren, Randy Clark (Hope) and Latisha Davis (Allen).  She was also blessed with twenty-six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, grandsons-in-law, and great-grandson, Stephen Burt, Corey Wolfe, Kevin Wolfe, Nathan Wolfe, Jason Warren, Charles Lungrin, Tyler Riley, and Taylor Lee.
