Faye Cochran

Ms. Faye Carroll (Smith) Cochran, born on July 21, 1944 in Meridian, Mississippi passed away at age 74 on June 29, 2019 at Rush Foundation Hospital.

Ms. Cochran was a graduate of Meridian High School class of1962. She was a private caregiver to several that were precious to her heart until retiring in 2017. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend and will be missed by all.

Faye is survived by her children, Tonya Cochran Culpepper, Cal Cochran, Celecia Cochran Daughdrill (Van) and Melaine Cochran Carlisle (Paul); brother, James "Smitty" Smith (Cindy); grandchildren, Leah Bellanger (Bobby), Tyler Cochran (Taylor), Tarah Brock, Dylan Thomas, and Harley Cochran; special nieces and nephews, Rene' Reno (Matt), James “Jimbo” Smith, Ben Smith (Julie),  Amanda Smith Posey (Jeff), and Brandon Smith (Anna); special people, Megan Pepple, Ricky Thompson, and Earlie Milsap, several great-grandchildren, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James M. Smith and Mae Smith, and great-grandson Benton Ray Cochran.

Friends may join the family for a celebration of life service on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at NorthPark Church: 7770 Highway 39 North Meridian, Ms. There will be a time for fellowship following the service with a lantern release at dusk.
