Faye Horne

Memorial services for Mrs. Faye Horne will be Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Mediator in Meridian, Mississippi with a reception to follow.  The service will be conducted by Father Morris Thompson and Deacon Steve Owen.  Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Faye Horne, age 85, passed away peacefully at home with her family on Wednesday, October 11.

Mrs. Horne was a member of the Grover Burnett Chapter 352 of the Order of Eastern Star and served the organization in many capacities in both local and state offices. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing and needlepoint, as well as tending to her flowerbeds.  She was an active member of the Church of the Mediator, serving on several committees.

Mrs. Horne is survived by her daughter, Virginia Brand (Mike); her son, Joey Horne; her sister, Emma Jane Hoyt of Clarksville, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Aaron (Aga), Emily (Trey), Campbell, Isabella, Annette (Greg), Dawn; and eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  She also leaves her beloved dog, Lady, to mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sonny Horne; and her siblings, Marshall Roberts, Hazel Gibson, Annis Lee, and Mary Wadsworth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be shared with the Memorial Garden Fund at the Church of the Mediator.
