Frances Davis Coulter Funeral services for Frances Davis Coulter will be held Monday, October 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church, with Dr. John Temple officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Coulter, 75, of Meridian passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church. Mrs. Coulter volunteered with Rush Hospital. She was a former employee at Hughes Telephone Company. Mrs. Coulter was an avid traveler and loved traveling the world with her family. Survivors include her husband of thirty years, Robert Coulter of Meridian, they were married on June 2, 1984; son, Russ Davis of Madison; daughter, Michele Davis Ford and husband Cliff of Jackson; mother, Flora Paul of Meridian; grandchildren, Rusty Davis and wife Dru of Madison, Leighton Davis and wife Maryanna of Gluckstadt, Price Davis and wife Fenly of Ridgeland, Frances Brett Ford of New Orleans, Sarah Ford of Jackson, Mary Catherine Ford of Davao Philippines; great-grandchildren, Myers Davis of Madison; sister, Sylvia Morris and husband Paul of Mobile, AL; one niece and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jim Davis who died on July 10, 1980; and father, Talmadge Lafayette Cook. The family request memorials be made to Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church Building Fund. Pallbearers will be Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church Deacons.
