Frances Thompson Robinson Services for Frances Thompson Robinson will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Mrs. Robinson, 82, of Meridian died Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Meridian and a former member of First Baptist of Columbus and State Blvd. Baptist Church. Mrs. Robinson was born on December 9, 1931, in the Carmichael Community. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include her husband of sixty one years, Billy J. Robinson of Meridian; son, William Stephen Robinson of Meridian and daughter, Karol Robinson Vaughn of Meridian; grandchildren, Chloe' Beasley, and Taylor Vaughn; great-grandson, Andrew Douglas Beasley; sisters, Annette Harmon, Jewel Tisdale, Dorothy Hildreth, Willodean Hines and Hazel Jackson; brother, Edsel Thompson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Agnes and Cloey Thompson; brothers, Clyde Thompson and Walter Thompson.
