Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Wynell Todd will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Chapel Home with Reverend Damon Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Church Cemetery in the Martin Community. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Frances "Wynell" Todd, 92, of Martin, MS passed away Monday, August 5, 2024, at Brookdale Senior Living. She was born on April 4, 1932, in Martin, Mississippi. She was the youngest of 7 children.

Wynell played basketball for Martin High School. This is when she met the love of her life, Kenneth Todd. They were married for 74 years and had two daughters. Wynell completed cosmetology school in Lubbock, Texas and was a practicing beautician for many years. She enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and gardening in her spare time. She also took great joy in cooking for her family and friends. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Todd is survived by her daughters, Frances Harris and Connie Singley (Otho); grandson, Jeff Knight (Jennifer); granddaughter, Heather Cooksey (Erik); great-grandchildren, Emily Knight, Ethan Knight, and Aiden Cooksey; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other close family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Todd; father, George T. Hodges; mother, Evie Saterfield Hodges; brothers, Talmadge Hodges, Moody Hodges, and Junior Hodges; sisters, Sadie Davis, Earline Brown, and Faye Herrington.

Pallbearers will be Erik Cooksey, Al Davis, Danny Fulgham, Joe Giles, James Todd, and Randy Williams.
