Funeral services for Frank E. Grantham will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 11am at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Carl White officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Frank Grantham, age 79, of Meridian, MS passed away Friday April 18, 2014 at Anderson Regional Hospital.

Mr. Grantham graduated from Porterville High School in 1953 and continued his education at Ross Collins Vocational School in electronics and later at Meridian Jr. College.

He spent three years in the Army National Guard based in Scooba, MS with an additional five years of service in the MS Air National Guard based in Meridian, MS.

Mr. Grantham began working for AT&T in 1956 and later transferred to South Central Bell as an outside plant engineer until his retirement.

Mr. Grantham was a member of Highland Baptist Church. He loved his Sunday school class and the many friends he had there.

He loved to go fishing and camping. Some of his best memories were with his Trailblazers Camping Group. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather who loved his family dearly.

Survivors include: wife, Jo Ann Grantham, daughter, Charlotte Smith and husband Scottie of Madison, MS, daughter, Becky McElroy and husband Jeff of Meridian, three grandchildren, Brandon McElroy and wife Stacy, Alex McElroy and Hannah Smith. He is also survived by special friends/family Clarice and Charlotte Rasco of Meridian, MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lee and Pearl Grantham.

The family request memorials be made to: Highland Baptist Church or Central Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be: Alex McElroy, Brandon McElroy, Mike Thomas, Greer Goldman, Leroy Corley, and Billy Allen.
