Frank E. Tillman Funeral Services for Frank E.Tillman will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Reverend Jonathan Tullos and Reverend Kenneth Owen officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Methodist Community Cemetery on Valley Road with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Tillman, 86, of Meridian passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2014, at the MS State Veterans Home in Collins, Mississippi. Mr. Tillman was a longtime owner of Superior Furniture Company. He served in the United States Army and was a World War II veteran. Mr. Tillman sponsored Kids Only Sandy Ridge Bream Tournament for twenty-two years. Mr. Tillman was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church Survivors include his wife of fifty-one years, Evelyn Tillman of Meridian; sons, Mitch Tillman (Syble) of Houston, Texas, and Frankie Tillman (Tracy) of Panama City Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Amanda Evelyn Caraway (Brad) of Meridian, Angela St. John (Arthur) League City, Texas, Ashley Kacher (Michael) of Katy, Texas, and Cole Tillman of Panama City Beach, Florida; sisters, Bernice Embrey (Ed) of Texarkana, Texas and Vita Phillips of Kemp, Texas; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Grant Brown, Gary Thornhill, Jackie Strebeck, Willie Wallace, Richard Williams and Brad Caraway.
