Fred Michael "Mike" Mabry, Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. Fred Michael “Mike” Mabry, Sr. will begin at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Anderson and Bro. Bud Thomas officiating. Service music will be provided by Dylan Thomas. Interment will follow at Stinson Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Mabry, 61, of Meridian, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 7, 2023, surrounded by his loving family, at his home.

Mike was a hardworking, Christian man, who loved his church, Shady Grove Church of God. He worked in construction most of his life. The outdoors was his favorite place to be especially during hunting season. The best hunt he had was when he accompanied his grandson, Michael, on an Elk hunt which they took a trophy bull, thanks to Catch- A- Dream Foundation.  Mike made a huge impact in the lives of all who knew him, especially his in-laws. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Mike is survived by his wife of over 3 years, Kristi Thomas Mabry; step children, Shannon Pendergrass (Terry), Dustin Hinson (Angela), and McKenna Corn. Grandchildren, T.J. Pendergrass (Kayley), Ben Pendergrass (Rebecca), Dylan Reynolds (Skylar), Tyler Reynolds (Adrian), Zoey Hinson, Ellie Hinson, and special grandchildren Michael Mabry, III and Carter Worley; one brother, Keith Mabry (Beth), as well as a host of nieces , nephews, and extended family members.

Mr. Mabry is preceded in death by his parents, Louis Mabry, Sr. and Frances Mabry; his wife of over 30 years, Veronica Mabry; one son Michael Mabry, Jr; siblings Louis Mabry, Jr and Frankie Parker; one nephew, Chris Mabry; and special cousin, Tanya Ochello.

The Mabry family suggests memorials be made as donations to the Catch- A- Dream Foundation in lieu of flowers.

Pallbearers will be David Mabry, Louis Mabry, III, Sam Hurt, Prentiss Allbrook, Bobby Bellanger, and Keith Swanner; with James O. “Bud” Thomas, Linon C. “Jay” Mabry, James L. “Jay” Thomas, Ronald Nester, and Dustin Hinson serving as honorary pallbearers.
