Funeral services for Freddie Carroll will be held Sunday at 2:00pm, September 13, 2015, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at Enon Cemetery in Texas. Mr. Carroll, 50, passed away September 9 in Georgia. Freddie was a 1983 graduate of Meridian High School. He was also a graduate of the University of Alabama, where he received his Bachelor's in Corporate Finance and Investment Management. Fred was very successful in the banking and real estate industries, serving at several levels, including Branch Manager, Commercial Lender, and Real Estate Development. He was a member of Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church and served many years as an officer in the JC's of Marietta, Georgia. He is survived by his daughter, Virginia Elizabeth "Ginny" Carroll; mother, Elizabeth "Beth" Parrish Carroll; sister, Michelle Carroll Rose; and niece, Sophia Rene' "Sophi" Rose. He was preceded in death by his father, Freddie O'dell Carroll, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Robert Guinn "RG" and LaVerne Reeves Parrish; and paternal grandparents, William Frederick and Bessie Maude Ponder Carroll.
