Freddie H. Peden Services for Freddie H. Peden will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 11:30 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mark Flynn officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Peden, 76, of Meridian, died Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a Veteran of the Air National Guard. Mr. Peden was retired after working for many years with Ethridge Lincoln, Mercury and was working with H & H Auto Sales. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Jewel Peden of Meridian, sons, Jeff Peden and his wife Julie of Meridian, Carl Peden and friend Leigh Ann May; grandsons, Nathan and Dylan Peden; sister, Betty White and her husband Gene of Dekalb, MS; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Stay Home Hospice. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Peden. The family request memorials be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church or the American Cancer Society. Pallbearers will be Odie Turberville, Tom Brocksmith, Huff Brown, Ken Rainey, Hurdle Henderson and Jack McMullan. Honorary pallbearers are Lamar Moorehead, Frankie Hoffer and Hal Herrington.
