Fredrick F. Galyean, Jr. Funeral service for Fredrick F. Galyean, Jr. will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014, at 11:00 a.m.at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Malcolm Lewis officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery immediately following the service. Mr. Galyean, 69, of Meridian passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He retired from the MS Air National Guard after serving for thirty-eight years. He received the Vietnam Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal as well as many other medals. Mr. Galyean was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors include his sons, Chris Galyean and Clint Galyean; grandsons, Shawn Galyean and Richie Galyean; mother, Rose Galyean; sisters, Sherry Galyean, Kay Galyean, Patricia Neal; sister-in-law, Cathy Dessommes (Jack) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Galyean; father, Floyd Galyean and in-laws, Donna and Roy Hattaway. Pallbearers will be the military.
