Garry Carlton Moore Funeral services for Garry Carlton Moore will be held Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jerry Read officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Mississippi Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Moore, age 70, of Meehan, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Kemper County Hospital. Garry was a Vietnam Veteran and was retired from the Air National Guard. He was a former fire chief at Meehan Volunteer Fire Department. He loved God, his family, and his country. He was not perfect, but forgiven. He strived to do his best, always helping others and loved to laugh and have a good time. Survivors include his daughters, Wendy McCullom (Rico) of Meehan, and Susan Marshall of Ridgeland; grandchildren, Cody Butler, Alicia Butler, Cameron Moore and Hunter Anderson; four great-grandchildren; brother, Gene R. Moore (Helen) of Choctaw; sister, Lana Turnage (David) of Meehan; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Bonnie Moore of Meehan and brother, Kenny Moore of Toomsuba.
