Graveside services for Gene Brown will be held Tuesday September 8, 2015 at 12:30 pm at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Gary Blair officiating. Mr. Brown, 79 of Meridian passed away September 6, 2015 at Anderson Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and the Mississippi Bar Association. He was a graduate of the University of Mississippi Law School and a retired attorney, who practiced law in Meridian from 1964- 2013. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jo Carol Brown; brother, Glenwood Martin, of Meridian; sisters, Pauline Caraway and Esther Northam, of Meridian; Carolyn Moulds of Florence, Mississippi; Dianne Dennard, of Macon, Georgia, and Sherry Toole, Watkinsville, Georgia; brother-in-law, Joe Beeson, of Brandon, Mississippi. and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Eric Brown; his parents, Selby H. and Helen G. Brown; brothers, Herbert Ronnie and Kenneth Brown; and sister, Lois Pipkin. Visitation will be held Tuesday 10:00 - 12:00 pm. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Family and Friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
