George Laury Bennett Services for George Laury Bennett will be held Friday, January 31, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Church of Martin with Reverend Tommy Espey officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Church in Martin with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Bennett, 80, of Collinsville died Monday, January 27, 2014, in Kosciusko, Mississippi. He is a retired Master Sgt. from the Air Force and also retired from the United States Postal Service. Mr. Bennett is a Baptist. Survivors include his wife of fifty-seven years, May Dell Saterfiel Bennett of Collinsville; son, Greg Bennett and wife Sherry of Collinsville; daughter, Renee Bennett and fiancé Bill Brack of Herndon, Virginia; son, Scott Bennett and wife Angela of Alpharetta, Georgia; sister, Laverne Michael of Novi, Michigan; grandchildren, Ryan Bennett and wife Lacee of Meridian, Mississippi, Kristin Griffin and husband Cody of Flowood, Mississippi, Nicholas and Parker Bennett of Alpharetta, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Gavin Scott Bennett of Meridian and numerous nieces and nephews.
