George H. Butler

Funeral services for George H. Butler will be Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Leon Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Butler, age 77, of Meridian, passed away Monday, July 11, 2016 St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS.

George was retired from the Meridian Police Department.

Survivors include his daughters, Regina Donaldson, of Brandon, MS, and Fran Rigdon and husband, Kevin, of Meridian; grandchildren, Joshua Donaldson, of Ocean Springs, Peyton Rigdon, Presley Rigdon, and Palmer Rigdon, all of Meridian; brother, Felix Butler and wife, Sue, of Union; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Butler; parents, Cecil and Annie Ruth Butler; sisters, Dorothy Jean Butler, Helen Flowers, and Wyvonne Robertson.
