Mr. Little, 60, of Collinsville, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.

George loved the outdoors and spent many weekends at his river camp on the Tombigbee river with four generations of family and friends. During high-school, George enjoyed trail riding motorcycles until he was in an accident which put him in the hospital with a concussion and broken bones. Luckily, with time, he was back to normal and continued to ride motorcycles like a wild man. He grew up jug fishing for catfish with his father but eventually bought a Ranger Bass Boat and began fishing bass tournaments. He fished tournaments all through Mississippi and Alabama and became president of the Collinsville Bass Club. He went on to own three Ranger bass boats. George’s life was changed when he met the love of his life, Pam. He signed up for the full package --- from bachelorhood to fatherhood. Through the 80’s, 90’s, and early 2000’s, George was very successful fishing, but eventually slowed down to focus on raising his family and their many beloved pets. As a family man his focus was coaching and watching his children play football, baseball, soccer, and softball. George had a servant’s heart, and he lived to help and provide for others. He was known and loved as George Mabry, Boo Boo, Daddy, Brother, and Papaw. George left a positive impact on everyone he came across and will be remembered by many for that impact. He loved Jesus, his community and was loved by all.

Mr. Little is survived by his wife of 26 years, Pam Little; children, Jakson Little, Erica Martinez (Jason), Thomas Hodges (Ashly) and godchild, Amber Riley. Grandchildren, Collins, Ivana, and Madelyn Hodges; Harmonie. Sister, Becky May; Brother, Jim Little (Barbara). Nephew Kyle Little (Tiffany). Special friends known as brothers, Ronnie Fairchild (Terri), Dennis Carpenter (Gayla), and Bob Boutwell (Rhonda) as numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
