A funeral service for Gerald Alexander will be held Friday, September 25, 2026, at 2:30 PM at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Bro. Jackie Strebeck officiating. Burial to follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, starting at 1:00 PM until 2:15 PM, prior to service, on Friday, September 25, 2026. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Gerald M. Alexander, age 90 of Meridian, passed away Monday, September 21, 2026, at Ochsner Rush Health.

Survivors include his children, Pam Olive (Mark) and Michael M. Alexander (Kerri); grandchildren, Brandi Dubose, Christopher Gipson (Kerri), Michael Grant Alexander (Alexa), and Matthew Gray Alexander; seven great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren; siblings, Janelle Feingold, Robert Alexander, Melba McGee, Glenda Todd (James), Ralph Alexander; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Clair Alexander; brother, Jimmy Alexander; parents, Amos Otis and Ida Mae Alexander.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
