A private service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home celebrating the life of Jerry Heblon. Her grandsons, Matt and Mark Snowden will officiate the service. Burial will be held at Magnolia Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Ms. Heblon, age 89, of Meridian passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Geraldine, or Jerry, as she was affectionately known, enjoyed life. She loved being a mother, a grandmother, and especially a great-grandmother to the girls, Sierra, Molly, Mackenlee, Mia, and Ella and the boys, Wes, Logan, John Taylor, Ethan, and Ollie. Jerry served God and loved her churches, Fifteenth Avenue, Highland, and First Baptist when she became home bound. She loved people, and people loved her too.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Snowden (Tim); her grandchildren, Matt (Meredith) Snowden, Mark (Natalie) Snowden, and Brian (Sarah Beth) Snowden; her wonderful cousins, Margaret Carver, Harriet Heblon, Richard Norris and their families; a very dear friend, Chris Ethridge; and a host of special caregivers at Beehive Homes of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her son, Steve Heblon, and her parents, John and Mackie Fleming.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Music Ministry at any of Ms. Jerry’s churches.
Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
