Geraldine E. "Gerry" Workman Visitation will be held for Geraldine E. "Gerry" Workman on Monday, March 5, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Mississippi Veteran Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Davey Wilkinson officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Workman, 89, of Meridian died Friday, March 2, 2012, at Anderson Regional Medical Center North. She was born in Hummelstown, PA and later moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where she and Bill Workman married in 1947. Mrs. Workman was a member of Coker's Chapel United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star and the Guardian Angels Organization of Hamasa Shrine. Survivors include her husband of sixty-four years N. W. "Bill" Workman of Meridian, sons Donald Workman and wife Patsy of Forsyth, Georgia, Thomas N. Workman and wife Julie of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Robert L. Workman and wife Carol Jo of Meridian; daughter Sandra W. Speed and husband Charles of Meridian; grandchildren William Shane Workman, Waylon Huff, Michelle Edinfield, Tina Fletcher and husband David, Thomas N. Workman II and wife LeDee, Holly Hilton and husband Dallas, Robert L. Workman, Jr. and wife Marla, LeAnn Vick and husband Todd, Trent Workman, Lindsay S. Nomichith and husband Nate, Chandler G. Speed and eleven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Sergeant Major W.G. "Bill" Workman. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Shane Workman, Tommy Workman, Robby Workman, Trent Workman, Chandler Speed, and David Fletcher. Honorary pallbearer will be Nate Nomichith and Dallas Hilton.
