Gertrude "May Dell" Butler Usrey

The family of Mrs. May Dell Usrey will hold a celebration of life service for her on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Center Grove Baptist Church, with Brother Jimmy Culpepper officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Usrey, age 81, of Meridian, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Rush Foundation Hospital.

May Dell was born in Watonga, Oklahoma and was raised in Norwalk, California. She was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Usrey was a loving wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband, Erbie Clark Usrey; one daughter, Edwina “Lorie Dell” Ballard (Ronnie); brother, Edwin Butler, Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends; and three step-children; numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Rosa Lee Butler and two children, Regina and Junior Usrey.

The family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
