Gilmer Shepherd Norman, Jr. Graveside services for Gilmer Shepherd Norman, Jr. will be held Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Reverend Davey Wilkinson officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Norman, age 82, of Meridian, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015. Survivors include his son, Gil S. Norman, III and wife, Kitzi; daughters, Lisa and husband, Dr. Eric Lewis, Laurie Simpson and husband, Alan; three granddaughters, Erica Lewis, Kennedy Norman, and Natalie Rockett; six grandsons, Gil S. "Nick" Norman, IV, Reagan Lewis, Seth Lewis, Kyle Simpson, Ryan Simpson, and Kevin Simpson; two great-grandchildren, Michael Rockett and Lauren Rockett; sister, Mellie Neal; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Earline Redditt Norman; two brothers, James Norman and Charles Norman; and his parents, Gilmer S. Norman, Sr. and Bernice Ranager Norman.
