Graveside services for Gladys P. Simpson, 97, of York, Alabama will be held Monday, February 19, 2024, at 1:30 P.M. at Sumter Memorial Gardens in Cuba with Rev. Mark Dunn officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Gladys passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home in Demopolis. She was born April 22, 1926, in Tibbie, Alabama to Elijah and Annie Nora Parnell.

Survivors include her daughters, Kim Hoggle (Darrell) of Livingston, AL; Phyllis Kimbrell (Wayne) of Jackson, AL; grandchildren, Jennifer Harwell (Bryan) of Butler, AL; Jessica Arnott (Will) of Jackson, AL; Joseph Hoggle (Audrey) of Livingston, AL; great-grandchildren, Katie Harwell; Brooke Harwell; Thomas Harwell; Hayden Harwell; and Eli Hoggle.

She was preceded death by her husband, R.C. Simpson; parents, Elijah and Annie Nora Parnell; and nine siblings.
