Funeral services for Mrs. Glenda Elizabeth Smith will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Matt Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the funeral arrangements.

Glenda Smith, age 85, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Brookdale Assisted Living. She was a kind, strong, loving wife, and mother. Glenda was a very active and smart legal secretary for multiple law firms in Meridian for many years. Glenda enjoyed spending time with family and seeing everyone she loved during holiday get togethers. Glenda was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Glenda is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, James E. Smith, and son, Greg Smith; Michelle Hollan, Savannah Jackson, and Rebekah Jackson.

Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents, Harold E. and Minnie L. Shepard.

Pallbearers will be Charles Wiggins, Grady Coleman, Jim Autry, Irby Lang, Butch Shannon, and Mark Adkins.

Visitation will be from 12:00 until 12:45 PM, prior to funeral services at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
