Glenda Sue Chatham

Graveside services for Mrs. Glenda Sue Chatham will begin at 2:30pm Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in the House Community with the Reverends Davey Wilkinson, Gilbert Eaves, and Jack Kern officiating. Interment will follow graveside rights. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Chatham, 71, of Meridian, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Glenda enjoyed spending time with her family, and friends, and also her beloved pets. Glenda was an excellent cook and often showed her love through her cooking; she enjoyed cooking for family and friends whenever possible. She was referred to Mamaw by her loving grandchildren and family. Mrs. Chatham was also a member of Russell Baptist Church.

Mrs. Glenda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Roy Chatham; children, Rodney Chatham and Christy Chatham. Grandchildren, Jacob, Devon, Gracie, Caroline, and Liam; and one great-granddaughter, Maeve. One Sister, Marie George Massey, and a beloved cousin, Kathy Overcash as well as a host of extended family.

Mrs. Chatham is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Juanita George; and grandparents, Earl and Grace Harris.

The family request memorials be made as donations to the Lauderdale County Animal Shelter in lieu of flowers.

Pallbearers will be Chris King, her son-in-love, Rodney Chatham, Devon Chatham, and Jacob Minor.
