Glendell Griffin

A Memorial service for Mr. Glendell Griffin will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kenneth Owen officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the funeral arrangements.

Mr. Glendell Griffin, age 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2025, at St. Dominic's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Glendell was a wonderful and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family and playing with his grandkids. Glendell had many hobbies, but especially enjoyed being outdoors fishing at the Okatibbee Lake with friends.

Glendell was a lifetime employee at Structural Steel/SSS trucking company. He loved working there and never planned to retire.

Glendell was a part of many associations. In 1983, he became a longtime member of the Meridian Moose Lodge. He was a past president of the Mississippi Moose Association and is currently the president of the Magnolia Moose Legion 67. He was also a member of the Meridian Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity. Glendell loved being part of the Associations and would not have traded it for anything.

Glendell was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.

Glendell is survived by his wife of 16 years, Faye Griffin; children, Kim Riley (Ricky) and Michael Griffin; grandchildren, Blakely Riley (children, Cash, Caizer, and Cross Casey) , Hunter Riley (Victoria)(children, Emma and Hudson), Justin Jackson (children), Catherine Jennings (Ashton) (children, Catherine), Christian Griffin (children, Waylon), Alex Griffin, and KC Griffin, and siblings, Benny Ray Griffin and Robert Lynn Griffin (Linda), as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Griffin is preceded in death by his children, Tim Runnels and Constance Broderick, parents, Robert and Margaret Griffin, and grandson, Stephen Jackson.

Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 7:00PM on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
