Glenn Craig Murphy

Graveside services for Mr. Glenn Craig Murphy will begin at 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Bethel Southern Methodist Church Cemetery in Kemper County with the Reverend Dr. Roy McNeill and John Lisenbe, Jr. officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Murphy, 46, of Bailey, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Glenn was an avid outdoors man who loved to hunt and fish; he also enjoyed playing softball. He was a Timber Cruiser and worked for over 10 years in Jacksonville, FL.

Glenn is survived by his parents, Marlan and Clarie Murphy; siblings, Jeffery Murphy (Tera), and Amy Semmes (Michael); nephews, Brayden and Connor Murphy, and Murphy Semmes. Aunts and Uncles, John Lisenbe, Jr.  (Teresa), Liz McKee (Jerry), and Carol Murphy, as well as a host of extended family.

Mr. Murphy is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Howard and Clara Murphy and maternal grandparents, John and Doris Lisenbe.

The family suggest that memorials be made to the Gideons International in lieu of flowers.
