Gloria Leanelle Mccall Grogan

Gloria Leanelle McCall Grogan, went home to be with the Lord Saturday morning, October 14, 2017.  Arrangements are being handled by Barham Family Funeral Home with a Tuesday, October 17 visitation from 11am – 1pm, immediately followed by a service at 1pm.

“Glory” was a devoted wife to husband Raymond O. Grogan, Jr., a loving mother to daughter Ticia Rae, son Neal and his wife Melissa, and a doting grandmother to Mason, Morgan and Payton. She joins in Heaven her parents Elton L. and Mable Bateman McCall, and mother-in-law Eileen Grogan. She was a devoted best friend to sister Glenda McCall White, and to her cousins Mary Fay Wilson and Pat Bateman.

Glory fully embraced her faith and was a longtime member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.  She joyfully proclaimed her salvation and practiced the golden rule with understanding, and lived with the virtue of caring for others and forgiveness in her heart and deeds.

Glory had a kindness and gentle spirit that was matched only by her laughter – especially at family-gatherings when the story-telling would produce tears from her rolling, infectious laughter.

Her passing leaves us heavy with our earthly grief, but we choose to celebrate the joy of her life, and heartwarming memories of a loving, rolling laughter…

Surviving her is husband, Raymond “Jr”, daughter Ticia Rae and granddaughter Morgan, son Neal and daughter-in-law Melissa and grandchildren Mason and Payton, all of Meridian; sister, Glenda and brother-in-law Paul White of Moss Point; Jr’s sisters Rita and husband Billy Crane of Meridian, Mavis and husband Buddy Crane of Meridian also; and many cousins, nieces and nephews and great-nieces/nephews and many good friends.
