Gracie Hobson Wiant Services for Gracie Hobson Wiant will be held Monday, October 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel lead by Stacey Sykes. Burial will be in Carbon Hill Memorial Gardens at Carbon Hill, AL at 2:00 p.m. Mrs. Wiant, 82, of Meridian died Friday, October 4, 2013 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Wiant was an avid dealer of antiques and was much sought after for advice and expertise by local dealers, who loved her dearly. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include her daughters, Lynn Wilson (Rand) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Deborah Wilson of Gulfport, MS; grandchildren, Scott Wilson (Jenna), Lee Wilson (Laura Lee), Allen Wilson (Amanda), April Wilson and Brett Wilson; great-grandchildren, Maddy Grace Wilson, Kathryn Elizabeth Wilson, Tobias Wilson; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Wiant and son, Larry Wiant. The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Pallbearers will be Scott Wilson, Lee Wilson, Allen Wilson and Ronnie Trammell. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
