Grady Ferrell Davidson Services for Grady Ferrell Davidson will be held, Saturday, September 24, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Jessie Napp and Gary McInnis officiating. Burial will be in Bucatunna Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. On September 21, 2011, Grady Ferrell Davidson, 67, passed from the loving arms of his wife and family into the arms of his heavenly Father. He was born on August 6, 1944, in Meridian, Mississippi. Mr. Davidson resided in the Snell Community and was the owner of Davidson Hauling and Construction, a business that he and his wife established in 1993. Ferrell was the loving husband, partner and soul mate to Diane Davidson, devoted father to Samantha Davidson Mayerhoff, father in law to Michael Mayerhoff, doting "Grandy" to Michaela Ann Mayerhoff, beloved father to Terri Ann Hebert and "DeDa" to Kiel and Garret Hebert. A loving brother to his surviving siblings Opal Bush and her husband Kenneth, Sammie Davidson and his wife Doris, Bobby Davidson and his wife June, and Walterine Cooke and her husband Stu. He was "Uncle Ferrell" to his numerous nieces and nephews and dearly loved each. Ferrell was also a loving brother to his deceased siblings Earl Davidson, Glen Davidson, Billy Davidson and Alton Ray "Cecil" Davidson. He was also preceded in death by his parents Sam and Maude Davidson. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society and St. Jude's Hospital. Pallbearers will be Brent Davidson, Gary Davidson, Mitch Alawine, Ken Bush, Martin Davidson, and Jeff Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Mann, Everett Coleman, Randall Watson, Ken Murphy, Roger Hagan and Jason Coleman.
