Greg Gilbert, Sr.

Funeral services for Greg Gilbert will begin Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Dr. Dan Lanier officiating with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Gilbert, age 59, of Lauderdale, passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at his residence.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Patricia Gilbert; children, Hope Morrison (Billy Roy), Greg Gilbert, Jr. (Leigh), Jason Gilbert (Jennifer), and Shellie Gilbert (Scotty); grandchildren, Brooke Morrison, Jessica Morrison, Cameron Gilbert, Alyssa Gilbert, Matthew Chamblee, Destinie Gilbert, Makinze Gilbert, Austin Oliver, Katelyn Oliver, Payton Oliver; great-grandchild, Destin Hager; brother, Larry Gilbert; sister, Kathy Chalfant; step-father, Tommy Smith; nephews, Brad Gilbert and Roy Sanders, Jr. and niece, Sharron Sanders.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lamar and Janette Gilbert, and sister, Susan Phillips.
