Funeral services for Mrs. Gwendolyn Hollingsworth will be Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at 2:30 P.M. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Naylor officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Hollingsworth, age 92, of Meridian passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Diversicare of Meridian. She was born in Stonewall, Mississippi, on October 8, 1931, to Charlie and Clara Long Morgan. She was a life-long member of First Baptist Church of Marion.

She is survived by her sisters, Rachel Clark of Bailey, MS; Eloise Turner of Meridian, MS; nieces, Darlene Thompson of Bailey, MS; Wendy Fisher (Ronald) of Meridian, MS; Katie Small of Meridian, MS; Judy Griffin of Meridian, MS; nephews, Lee Harvey (Cindy) of Bailey, MS; Buster Long (Layne) of Toomsuba, MS; Billy Turner (Kristen) of McKinney, TX; 10 great nieces and nephews, 7 great-great nieces and nephews; and step-children, Mark Hollingsworth (Debby) of Alabama; and Lois Jones (Danny) of Meridian, Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Clara Morgan; her first husband, Roy Alexander; second husband, Harvey Hollingsworth; sister, Charlotte Small; niece, Kay Small; and her great-niece, Miranda Harvey.

Serving as pallbearers will be her nephews and great nephews.
