Funeral services for Mr. Harrell Pace will begin at 11:00 AM, December 11, 2024, at Arkadelphia Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Lovett officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Kemper County. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Harrell Harrison Pace, 87, of the Blackwater Community, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024, at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Harrell Pace started his career in the U.S. Navy in April of 1954 at the age of 17, during his 20 plus years of Naval Military Service, he served in many capacities to include Aviation Maintenance Mechanic, Aircraft Flight Crew, (flying many surveillance missions in a A3 Sky Warrior over hostile environments) as well as Technical Training Instruction for the U.S. Navy and their Maintenance Programs. When he retired from military service in December 1973, he then returned to his hometown of Meridian, MS, where he started his civilian career with several different local businesses, until he returned to NAS Meridian as a Civil Service employee, retiring in April of 1993. In his retirement he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and working around the farm. He and Mary enjoyed over 25 different cruises and many other traveling adventures.
He is survived his children, Perry Pace (Kaye), Cynthia Laird, Robin Seale (Tommy), Mike Pace (Teresa), and Stacey Roberts (Charlie); grandchildren, Erica Barnett, Justin Seale( Jamye), Lindsey Rodgers (Jamie), Jarrod Seale (Lisa), Susanna Fieber (Timothy), Grant Pace (Brittany), Lance Pace (Hailey), Ryan Pace (Ivori), Josh Roberts (Miller), Hannah Farve (Zach); great-grandchildren; Parker and Everly Pace, Jase, Abigail, and Ivy Donald, Layten, Maysen and Court McRae, Liza Orell and Laynie Grace Seale, Cody and Cade Seale, Micah and Lilah Fieber, Bailey Wiygul and Harper Pace, Isaiah, Noah, and Anna Marie Pace, River and Hyde McDaniel, Sisters; Pat Colwick (John) and Val Weathers (Jimmy), and sister-in-law Doris Pace as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members
He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Mary D. Pace, great-grandson, Bennett Hawn, parents Walter and Euna Pace, brothers and sisters; Euna Mae Pratt, Mertie Gladys Combs, Albert Eugene Pace, Charley William Pace, Edmund Bradley Pace, Sarah Ellen Smith, and Walter Ray Pace, his mother-in-law; Nell Dunnavant, and his son-in-law Bill Laird.
Pallbearers will be Justin Seale, Jarrod Seale, Grant Pace, Lance Pace, Ryan Pace, and Josh Roberts with T.L. Hightower, Jerry Fox, and Billy McCall serving as honorary pallbearers.
The Pace family would like to express special thanks to the sitters from Kim's Sitter Service; Antoinette Stewart, Veronica Cole, Jackie Curtis, Betty Pettus, and Kimberly Johnson; AccentCare Home Health, Synergy Physical Therapy, Therapist, Chris Morgan, Dr. Kristi Durgin and staff, Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center and staff.
The family suggests memorials be made as donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Tunnel to Towers, or to Arkadelphia Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.

The Pace family will receive guests from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. The family will also receive guests from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM Wednesday, December 11, 2024, prior to funeral rites in the church.
